Trevor describes his artwork ‘Trever Hoani ‘ as follows:
I made a self portrait for my IHC Art Awards entry.
I covered a canvas with different coloured handmade paper. I used fairy lights to light up my picture.
I made a self portrait because I love my culture and my family. I am proud of who I am.
I would like people to feel happy when they see my art.
Trevor’s canvas has been illuminated by using battery operated LED fairy lights.
