Description
Jonette recreated Robyn Kahukiwa’s Hina masterpiece. Jonette loves Kapahaka and was inspired by the Maori lady in the painting. Jonette used handmade paper and PVA glue to layer on the bold colours. She used felt tip pens to create dimension in the ladies face. Jonette framed her work in an A3 white frame.
This piece was entered into the 2022 IHC Art Awards but was not selected as a finalist. This does not mean that it’s not fabulous!
