Joanne describes her artwork ‘Mary’ as follows:
I like making art because it is fun and I am a creative artist.
I made a monarch butterfly because I see them outside and I think they are pretty. I used wire, toilet paper and recycled paper to make my butterfly. I used gold fairy lights to make it illuminated.
I want people to feel excited and joyful when they see my art.
Joanne’s artwork is illuminated using battery operated LED gold fairy lights.
